She needs more Facebook attention Brian Kelly

I said really? You need me to comment more on pictures or the Live feed or Comment something....anything.
I've always joked and when someone close to you 'needs more Facebook attention' then you give it to them. I have tagged myself on many photos and inanimate objects like a mountain, stars, the sun.

We are in the early stages of understanding the Relationship Dynamics called Facebook. Make or breaking a relationship.

Christmas gift for all the music lovers

http://www.shinealightblog.com/

Where to begin??

Christmas is around the corner and we are all going to get something new. It may not be new new but it will be new to us and when we get it we are sooo happy. The link listed below in this article is my Christmas present to you. Open it, enjoy it, reuse it, and share it with a friend or two.
The person who publishes the site is really a musically genius. He know music. He loves music. he dreams about music. He is now sharing his love and knowledge with all of us.
I, fortunately, have listened to everything he knows about music and have experienced many things Music with him. Since 1987, he has pushed my musically boundaries beyond Led Zeppelin, Poison, REM, and Motley Crue. I went from riding my skateboard and loving the Sex Pistols to playing hacky sack ouside Foxboro Stadium waiting to see the Grateful Dead (1989). Crazy how things change when you open your eyes to the world.
Music is a big part of everyone's life and being able to share is such a nice thing.
http://www.shinealightblog.com/ will open your eyes to new music.
He worked at a radio station as a DJ spinning Buddy Holly, Elvis, and CCR during an overnight shift back in high school. He reads EVERYTHING and therefore he knows a lot because he seems to retain it all.

Enjoy your holidays and I hope you enjoy the site and possibly share the link with a friend or two. It's a great gift......even it's not brand new.

Social Services

Social services are here to help. Unemployment benefits, disability benefits, food stamps, mental health, and career services are all being maximized in this economy.
Short term or long term benefits are designed to help provide that little extra that people need when times are tough.
We all know that there are those out there that take advantage of these services. In some situations they are taken advantage for years and sometimes carry over to the next generation. When benefits are available it may seem easier to take advantage of them instead of taking the high road. Taking a job that puts someone on the right track and back into the workforce is a good thing. But if NOT working a getting the same amount or more/less money why do it? Hard to follow? Here is what I'm getting at.
Is it a good idea to drug test anyone receiving public assistance?
Can it be a requirement or should it be random?
In the private sector many companies require a drug test prior to being employed by that company. Why can an individual get public assistance (free taxpayers money) and not be held to the same standards?
Could this reduce the amount of people collecting benefits thus reduce the financial stress on taxpayers?
Is drug testing an attempt to control someone's behavior or a responsible way to help those who really need it?

Along the same lines; what about showing public assistance on your credit report under the Public Records section?

Food for thought

http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/collegeandfamily/raisekids/what-the-world-eats.aspx?gt1=33004

Great article about average families around the world. What they eat and how much they spend every week. I had this discussion in a Biology class with Darla Kelly at Goldenwest College. Big difference around the world with what we have for choices to eat. Depending on where you live really makes a difference in terms of what foods you have available. Life span and health varies around the world so blaming diet can only be part of what is going on.
Hopefully you view this and make better choices at the grocery store. Nothing builds family like cooking AND eating a great meal together.
